ROOF created this heartwarming two-minute-long animated film for VABYSMO that depicts the journey of a mother and son through several decades. The story is primarily told from the son’s perspective, showcasing his development from infancy to his professional career, with his mother as the central figure. The film had challenges as it spans different periods, showing the protagonist aging .Since the story is mostly told from a “point of view” style, the character of Mom is always very close to the camera. Therefore, it was important to maintain a high level of detail in her facial and body features, and her hair had to convey different styles reflecting different periodic trends. Roof created this delightful animated tale for Credit Karma. “KARMAVERSE” is a unique and imaginative CGI world where 3D animal characters with distinct and humorous personalities coexist in a finance-themed environment. The campaign presented an innovative challenge featuring a unique QR code that is embedded into the environment with remarkable realism, making it the first to be animated and fully functional. Charming characters, rich storylines and delightful winter scenery are a perfect blend for Holiday advertising. For this Holiday spot for IGA, Tonic wanted to push the 3D animation quality to new levels, as well as create a new visual style for the story world inspired by stop-motion animation. 🎄❤️ Director Kun Chang helped craft a cast of plush children’s toys, favorite companions brought to life by imagination and rendered with lovingly crafted and touch-worn textures by co-director Fabien Fulchiron. Southern Living wanted their magazine to stand out during the holidays. BluBlu Studios created this gorgeous animation, following the flight of a cardinal through this quaint country town, before perching on the featured iced cake on the cover of the December issue. This animation was done for the Apple News platform using BluBlu’s signature illustrative 2d animation, bringing charm and interest to their periodical.

BOL / “Bold Gold” / 3D environment & Photorealistic Product

Luxury Brand are well represented during the Holidays. BOL produces a lot of Holiday content throughout their roster of studios. Here, MISATO creates a journey through a world of gold and red to showcase Carolina Herrera’s Holiday offerings. BLUBLU utilized motion graphics and holiday imagery to create this spot for MacAllen Scotch Whiskey. They produced a series of 5 varying holiday spots to showcase throughout the year. BluBlu is an illustrative 2d animation studio who can take brands from idea to conception. They have a wide range of styles all sharing a highly curated look.

BluBlu’s longstanding partnership with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has seen many projects, but this one truly stood out. It is a heartfelt reminder of the swift pace at which we’re losing nature. Through a strong design sensibility and vibrant colors, BluBlu highlights the loss of forests, wildlife, and freshwater, emphasizing that through love and action we can make a real difference. This visually-driven story ‘ Raise The Kraken’ utilized driving music & sound design, and a fast-paced flow create this visual treat. Thank you Imaginary Lane for inviting us into this project and recognizing that Blublu’s incredible skills, collaborative vision and expertise would be an amazing asset to their film. Porcelain Wars is a documentary film about Ukrainian artists Slava, Anya, and Andrey who, under roaring fighter jets and missile strikes, choose to stay behind and fight, contending with the soldiers they have become. Defiantly finding beauty amid destruction, they show that although it’s easy to make people afraid, it’s hard to destroy their passion for living. All the animation was meticulously created by BluBlu Studios.

TONIC DNA – AIRPLAN / ‘Breathe It All In” / 2.5D Character & Environments

Take a look at TONIC DNA‘s latest work on Reactine for Wunderman Thompson. In this campaign directed by Donat Aron Ertsey of Airplan Studio, the team utilized cinematic camera zooms to seamlessly show the never-ending nature experiences that allergy sufferers have with Reactine. Created, written, and narrated by Tony-winning Broadway Star Betty Buckley and directed by four-time Emmy-nominee Sue Perrotto, ‘The Mayfly’ is the story of Megalyn Mayfly, who goes against all expectations and dedicates her short life to music and dance on a quest that takes her from Central Park West to the Upper East Side’s Carlyle Hotel. Crinimo created the opening titles and promos for the Netflix Original Film “Shirley” starring Regina King, about the trailblazing Shirley Chisholm and her 1972 Presidential run. Let’s make sure everyone knows about about this historical women! Crinimo uses graphic mixed media in the style of 1960-70’s protest art for this important new film from Netflix.. BLUBLU STUDIOS / ‘Celebrating 90 Years’ / 2D Frame x Frame Character Animation

BluBlu created this story-driven animation for Harry & David to help celebrate being The Gold Standard in Gourmet for 90 years. The animation takes us from seed to celebration, with appearances from the founders themselves. Being true to the appearance and personality of the late founders, BluBlu did an in-depth character analysis and development to get their individual looks right, and to capture their unique personalities. They utilized frame X frame animation to create a sense of flow and cohesion. The colorful animation takes us to the idyllic Bear Creek Orchards, where the company was founded and ending in everyone’s kitchen. “Celebrating 90 years and still sharing.”

ROOF STUDIO – /  “Good Karma”/ CG as Claymation, 3d Character & Environments

ROOF Studio was commissioned through Markham Yard to create a :60 animation for The New York Blood Center. The goal of the project is to encourage people to donate blood. Roof set out to enhance the important message by loading it with engaging visuals, representative characters, and hidden actions The CG Claymation style gives a hand-touched and relatable look to the flowing animation. The viewer is taken on a journey through the city meeting a diverse group of folks and see how good karma is passed on from one good deed to the next. That’s why we take a collaborative approach, as Chris Lockhart, Animation Director, highlights: “Through collaborative brainstorming sessions, we explored a wider range of comedic possibilities for the campaign. We focused on creating a subtle yet impactful parody with clever gags. By referencing current Apple practices, we workshopped ideas to further highlight the datedness of the concept. Our ability to rapidly iterate on ideas proved invaluable. This agility allowed us to quickly test and refine concepts while in production, ensuring the final product delivered the intended comedic impact.”

Mamba worked with MixMob to create this energetic promotion for their new mobile game Racer 1. Utilizing Unreal Engine allowed the team at Mamba to producer this vibrant and pumping spot in under 3 week from concept to completion.
